About Us
The Troy Junior Football program was founded in 1961 by Mr. Bill Evans and a group of dedicated volunteers. The program is directed by a board consisting of those volunteers who are interested in seeing that boys and girls are given the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of football and cheerleading, in an atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and fellowship.  Many of our players went on to compete at the varsity, college and professional levels.

  Troy Junior Football Season Calendar

There are three teams in our program with each team playing each other twice and two non-conference games, including the Championship Game at the end of the season, and hosts a Invitational Tournament that brings in youth football teams from all over the State of Ohio and beyond.

Each team is divided into three squads:  A Squad (primarily 6th graders), B Squad (primarily 4th and 5th graders) and C Squad (primarily 2nd and 3rd graders).

Currently, Troy Junior Football has an average of 100 boys and an average of 60 girls participating each season.

  Troy Junior Football Cheerleaders

Sideline energy is complimented by the Troy Junior Football Cheerleaders with a cheerleading squad dedicated for each team. An adult female advisor supervises and mentors the girls.

The girls are given the opportunity to learn the basics of cheerleading and dance routines and have also participated in various cheerleading competitions.

  Troy Junior Football Fundraising

Operating funds for the program comes from league sponsored ways-and-means projects such as fundraisers and annual fees paid by each of the six team sponsors. These funds are used to pay for equipment, playing field maintenance, game officials, trophies and awards.

Troy Junior Football, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501c3 organization.
